Brinsmead is a suburb of Cairns located 8km west of the city centre. It is bordered by Redlynch, Freshwater and Whitfield. Brinsmead is a relatively new residential and parkland area. The
housing blocks are quite large in this area and many of the residents have lovely large gardens. In the lead up to cyclone season it is prudent to clean up your garden to reduce the risk of debris in the event of a cyclone. It is important that garden waste is disposed of correctly. Stress Free Junk Removal can assist you with this process.
Please phone to book a garden organics collection. We will collect bunches of vines, creepers, weeds (except for noxious weeds such as blackberries), lawn clippings, flowers and leaves. We can bag these up to remove them easily. We will also bunch up and tie pruning or trunks of no more than one metre in length and 30cm in diameter and place in our truck to take away.
We will then take the garden waste away to be composted or mulched. Composting requires the breakdown of organic waste in a large container. It can be used as fertiliser on your garden and improve the condition of the soil. Mulching reduces the amount of water that evaporates from your soil, greatly reducing the need to water the plants in the hotter months. It can also prevent soil compaction and control erosion, depending on the materials used.
We’re called Stress Free Junk Removals for a reason – we really are stress free. For bookings call Casey on 0434 489 909 .
